Foreign minister needs to answer why no foreign investors are investing in India instead of rise of startups in which the government has zero role and contribution? This government has been a failure at every front.

@Manik_khanna if power is flowing from central government to the states like in British raj then how is India i.e. Bharat a "union of states" as per the constitution of India ?? Centralized rule is a flawed form of governance as India as per 1946 cabinet mission plan was supposed to be governed by the states and not a central government as it is nothing but continuation of same system of loot and exploitation put in place by the British. This plan was opposed tooth and nail by business houses in bed with the British and profiteering under centralized British rule. Since these business houses funded and guided Congress, it had to withdraw its consent to the 1946 cabinet mission plan which in turn led to the partition of India and not Hindu Muslim divide as we have been led to believe. Both Congress and BJP represent these business houses which are collectively known as the Bombay club. Which is why nothing changes if Congress and BJP is in power in New Delhi. For real progress power needs to move to the states as was intended in 1946 cabinet mission plan.

When millions have lost their jobs, let alone creation of new jobs, there will be growth in so called "startups" vast majority which don't make any profit.

@kunjukunjunil1481 Please explain how Cyprus with 26 billion dollars GDP can invest 12 billion dollars in India??

@Pragma_Rainmaker government invests in "startups"?? Startups are no different from Chai Pakora stall that you set up. If you take Mudra loan from the government for setting up that Chai Pakora shop then that is the limit of government's role. And you have to pay back that money with interest back to government. No loan write off for you.

@Pragma_Rainmaker foreign banks giving loans to Indian companies is your idea of "foreign investment" or this is another of your "sarcasm"??? Where are the factories, industries and jobs if there are foreign investments??

@hpremjit yo Mauritius from where Adani Ambani get their money laundered and "reinvested" in India leading to large foreign investment with no actual factories, industries and offices on the ground.

@Manik_khanna doing business easier?? Do you know how many compliances, returns, challans, audits etc someone doing business has to comply with irrespective whether he has done a single paisa worth of business?? The large number of regulations exist to make money for the lawyers, CAs and the government. Things are pretty much the same. Economy should be with the states. Central government should only be responsible for currency, RBI, defense and foreign affairs. Rest everything should be with the states.
