The original natives of North East which includes Tripura are Bengalis. The mongoloid people are people of Chinese or Burmese origin. North East was under Burmese occupation for close to 4 centuries. North East returned to India only after the British annexed Burma with British India in 1800. This is how north east has a different demography where the original natives have been ethnically cleansed from their ancestral lands by the invading Burmese and Chinese origin people who ironically have been declared indigenous Indian tribals in India. People of Burmese origin cannot claim to be natives of India let alone separate land. They have to integrate with India and Indians and not demand one territorial concession after another through use of force and violence.

@loveall69 yo, entire world belongs to China and Chinese. Can you deny Chinese and Burmese origin of Mongoloid and Austroasiatic people of North East?? How Chinese and Burmese became indigenous Indian tribals in India??? Can you take the pains to explain this?? @arun27695 please tell us the history of Tripura prior to Burmese invasion of Tripura and you'll find the natives as Bengalis and those calling themselves Tripuris turning out to be Burmese let alone Indians who settled in these ancestral lands of Bengalis during 400 years of Burmese occupation of North East which resulted in complete change in the demography of the region. Today north east is part of India and Indians will settle wherever they wish. Those people of foreign origin who are not happy with this, need to pack their bags and move back to the country of their ancestors.

People whom we call Bengalis today used to live all over Indonesia and Malaysia which used to be known as Srivijaya and other parts of South East Asia like Thailand and Cambodia prior to Chinese invasions from 1000 AD which changed the demography of this region just like what happened in India's northeast.

@semajrahd5634 India is a Greek name of today's Pakistan. Hindu is a Persian name for people living around Sindhu river whom we call Pakistanis today. It was not the name of a religion. We need to question everything taught to us and demand their historical background which often is completely missing.

@noname-zo1ej Dude, read real history. Look at your name and surname. Your name is those of Bengalis but your surname means those from Barma aka Burma. North East was under Burmese occupation for 400 years. It is only after British occupied Burma, that North East returned to India in 1800 but with majority ethnic Chinese or Burmese population due to ethnic cleansing of bhoomiputra Bengalis.

Which is why they have surnames ending with Burman, Debburma Devburman etc which means from Burma. Mongoloid people are not natives of India or South East Asia. They have settled here directly from China or through Burma. Real name of North East is Kamrupa which was first under Chinese occupation for two centuries followed by 4 centuries of Burmese occupation. This is how mongoloid people ended up in India who have never accepted themselves as Indians and this is the crux of all problems in north east. what will you say about a government that not only hides but blatantly lies about the history of North East?? Inner line permit is basically a form of dogs and Indians not allowed where ethnic Chinese and Burmese people are living.

Tripura, Manipur, Kamrupa aka undivided Assam are the ancestral lands of Bengalis which have been under 200 years of Chinese and 400 years of Burmese occupation resulting in complete change in demography of the region. North East returned to India only after the British annexed Burma with India in 1800. But after 400 years of Burmese occupation these places demography changed almost completely. Same happened across South East Asia which were Hindu and Indic and changed after large scale Chinese invasions and occupations from 1000 AD.
