BJP's religious nationalism loses badly when it faces ethno linguistic nationalism. This we saw in Bihar, Bengal and now Karnataka. BJP is facing the same issue in Maharashtra where breaking up Shiv Sena only strengthened UT Shiv Sena which represents Marathi nationalism.

@DKS How BJP loses badly in assembly elections in some states and completely sweeps those very states few months later during lok sabha election? Modi magic is largely dependent on tampered EVMs. If elections are held with paper ballots, results will be completely different. If elections are held with EVMs in 2024, forget opposition winning the election there won't be any more democracy but a defacto one party one leader rule.

@Vatsal Singh it is RJD JDU which won the election. BJP managed to break JDU out of the coalition and return to power.

@dab6 it is Modi who sent Nitish to the opposition so that if by any chance Modi fails to return to power in 2024, his man Nitish will become PM and keep running the agenda of Adani Ambani. This is why the paid media is so desperate to project Nitish as the PM face of the opposition when he cannot get even 5 seats in Bihar and without external support cannot become even CM of Bihar. Same story with papoo who cannot become even CM of UP and had to run away all the way to Kerala. Now he has even lost his seat from Wayanad.
