Biggest threat to countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh is climate change. Current massive floods in Pakistan is basically a black swan event. Bigger threat than floods is extreme heat and drought in Pakistan which will have severe economic, social and political fallout. Bangladesh on the other hand is going under water due to rising seas and oceans. India, because of its vast size is able to cope with climate change. But it is the biggest existential crisis in India as rising temperature will make large parts of India simply uninhabitable. Temperatures are predicted to touch 60 degrees in large parts of India in the not too distant future. It has already crossed 55 degrees in Jacobabad in Pakistan this year. If it followed with a China and Europe type drought that would have been far more disastrous than current floods of Biblical scale.

@roflkohli2853 Separatism is growing in South because of political marginalization and consequently lesser resource allocation from the central government even after South contributing the most to the national exchequer. Along with south, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha, Kashmir, Punjab, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and NE are also either restive or showing signs of disenchantment with the central government.
