When I went for my 1st colonoscopy I got pretty much all of the staff (and the doctors) laughing because I refused to believe that they didn't have the BEST fart and poop jokes ever! All I could get out of them was that "Yes, but it was against the rules to make jokes with the patients". Then I wanted to know how I could get a copy of the procedure in a video format so I should add sounds and maybe Mr. Poo from Southpark to narrate the journey through my colon. I was heartbroken to find out they didn't record it. That should be MANDATORY. As much as those machines cost a Record Button should be a standard feature!

Same here! Do you eat organic veg or mass-produced? Brussel Sprouts are my particular toxic bomb! But I have noticed that the larger organic ones? Produce a far smellier gas than the little mass-produced ones.

That's quite interesting! Perhaps its related to the term "Nervous Stomach" or "Butterflies"? I wonder if maybe the twitching movements of our muscles might be "sensed" as a sort of irritant by the inner lining of the intestines? Or act as an "Agitant" that wakes up the little gas makers? I am convinced that the joint inflammation in my pelvic area is overheating part of my colon that sits right above. That this is what causes the bacteria there to massively overproduce during times of increased inflammation. I also have an unusually large number of diverticula (pockets) inside my colon right in that same area.

If you are particularly Hirsute the "Rampart" bursting in the air can set your pubes on fire and burn your testicles. I may or may not have seen this happen to a "friend" who got mad because I "might" have started laughing at the thought of a "Roasted Weiner" being grilled on an "AzzGaz" Burner!

@Bruno Nope it's YT's auto-correcting words and grammar. I had to edit 6 words in mine. Which I KNOW were correct because I am sort of "Anal" 🤪 about making sure I have stuff spelled correctly. It's been doing it a lot more since a recent change YT did. Thankfully his pubic hair didn't catch fire and roast his weenie!

I keep telling the doctor that is what the Diverticuli's purpose is. That they hold mucous where bacteria live that make gas and when solid "poop" passes over the "Pocket"? it gets turned inside out, coating the "poop" with mucous and creating a small bubble of air to help the solid "poop" move toward the exit. When those Diverticula get turned inside out they will sometimes twist and become "Polyps" which eventually get reabsorbed by our bodies. So while those prone to Colon Cancer might benefit from frequent colonoscopy? Most of them are done for $$
