@Effective_tool_of_Satan so the Nazis hated capitalism, yet they are completely capitalist in nature? Don’t make much sense to me.

Capitalists who hated liberals?

So how did he get it wrong?

So you didn’t watch the video. Good to know.

@vishalpatkar6819 well what is socialism then, why is it called ‘social’ism?
4
Did you actually watch the video?

Well for a few months after the night of the long knives most new members where former socialists, so in anything the Nazi party became more socialist.

@vishalpatkar6819 you do know that the public means the state for all intents and purposes? By that definition the Nazis were socialists, they installed their organization into every seat of power, and when an organization refused to yield they seized the property and sold it to one of their own.

@alphauranium8451 socialism has two core tenets, individuals need to give up their rights for the benefit of the collective (or as Marx said it “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need”), and the free market is terrible (without computing that acentrally controlled economy is the only alternative). Both of these combined together tell us that socialists can’t be democratic. Socialists believe their system is more efficient and moral, so anyone voting against it is voting against the self interest of the collective, and any rights that works against the self interest of the collective will be taken.

@alphauranium8451 it is too, nothing you said goes against my definition.

Right wing is a meaningless term
2
@charliemoore2551 so, does the definition not include all of historical societies that are not the present one?
2
@charliemoore2551 so how do your describe Rome? Or ancient China? Or the Catholic Church? Like each of these things has varying different ideas.

@vishalpatkar6819 so I was right? My definition fits socialism to a T.
