  1. What Mary is describing is the dynamics of living with a family member who had narcissistic personality disorder on the malignant end of the spectrum. IF you have NOT been around a narcissist, you LITERALLY have no idea! Most people don't even wake up to what their abuser did to them UNTIL they reach their 50s and 60s. IF you've been the target or scapegoat of a narcissist, you know EXACTLY what she's talking about.
