@poshgentleman559 Have you ever been to a country where there is good public transport? It's generally a good sign when rich people use it. If you haven't seen this, go to somewhere like the Netherlands or better yet, Switzerland. Air travel should not be rationed by money. It should just be limited per person. Either that or the taxes should go up exponentially as people take more flights. If by "new world order" you mean a sustainable economy based on serving the health and welfare of people rather than the relentless pursuit of profit and growth, then let's hope that's what we get.

@jakke1975 wrong. Very wrong. It takes about 3-6 months to build a new solar farm. It takes about 1-2 years to build a new onshore wind farm. It takes about 3-5 years to build a new offshore wind farm. It takes 5-25 years to get a new gas field online. And they cost much much more.

No. She would have us not relying on oil at all. And note that oil from British waters doesn't belong to us. It belongs to giant multinationals who sell it to the highest bidder.
