Johnson's lies are constant, universal and unbounded by their horrific consequences.

Guys, get used to the idea that this government doesn't give 2 sh*ts about you, your kids or anyone except themselves and their buddies in the wealthy elite. They don't care if you can heat your home, if you can afford food or indeed if your kids will live in a collapsing society with food shortages and war. Get used to that. And rebel against it.

@jobbyomoron8478 Let's just deal with his pronouncements on climate change. He states repeatedly and in high profile speeches that climate change is an urgent and existential crisis. Then his government pushes through expansions of fossil fuel production. They raise spending on roads instead of public transport. They spend £100 billion on a rail scheme that won't be carbon neutral until 2080. They expand airport capacity. They continue to spend tens of billions subsidising fossil fuel production. They continue to subsidise the most destructive forms of agriculture. They support expansion of fossil fuel production overseas. They continue to stall or roll back investment on renewables, energy efficiency and low carbon forms of heating. And when people take to the streets to protest that their future is being destroyed in front of their eyes with the wilful complicity of their own government, Johnson's government seeks to imprison citizens and outlaw protest itself. How's that for starters?

@jobbyomoron8478 You know that the oil and coal companies all explicitly admit that climate change is real, is an existential crisis and is the result of the use of their products, right? If you really think that climate change is a myth, then I guess you have to accept that Boris Johnson was lying all those times he said it was an existential crisis, right?

@jobbyomoron8478 So in your mind he lies then. Got it. What else does he lie about? And the oil companies tell the same lie - in their internal and external documents - even though it risks the future of their industry. Why do they do that? Out of interest, which other fields of science do you dismiss as baseless?
