To anyone who wants to defend Bush: the Patriot Act. The Department of Homeland Security. The TSA. He laid the groundwork for the NDAA that allows the INDEFINITE detention of Americans on American soil just on SUSPICION that they MAY have done "something" - without due process. You can't get any more 1984 than that. Stalin would have drooled over the kind of power that W. gave the federal government. And guess what? We have no way of knowing how many people who have disappeared since W. took such power who were victims of the NDAA because they aren't allowed to contact the outside world! Look at the psychotics running the FBI and the Democrat party and tell me that they wouldn't be willing to do that to you or me.

My sons don't understand why this angers me so much. They think "it" will never happen here, that my worries are all tinfoil hat stuff. They don't understand that the TSA alone is a travesty on the American people; I can't understand how they don't get this. They were adults when the TSA came into existence. Such a thing as the TSA would have been unthinkable when they were born. Besides, the fact that the dominoes are already laid out for tyranny isn't how America was meant to be. Those dominoes shouldn't exist here at all. Now all it would take is one little push and there we'd be - a boot on the face of the people forever.
