@galenhaugh3158 Because it turns out that Trump is a terrible judge of character. His judges didn't stand up for him, his own vice president didn't stand up for him, and most of his cabinet and agency appointees stabbed him in the back. Ironically, of the people who were loyal to him, he ghosted them when his own government attacked them and let them twist in the wind. Some people have always said that he was a Trojan horse; I'm not sure they're wrong.
