When thousands of people violently rioted when Trump won the election, when conservatives are physically attacked and driven out of public places, when progressives call for the murder of conservatives with impunity, when agencies at the top level of government plot to overthrow the duly elected president, that's what civil war looks like. Anyone who says differently needs to study civil wars around the world. That's you, Styx. Civil wars are usually limited and chaotic, not formally organized militaries and territorially widespread (that is, not army against army covering a huge swath of the country).
