  1. Dennis Walker De Tocqueville said much the same thing in Democracy in America. The man was a genius. Considering the odds against our continuing existence as a relatively free country, which de Tocqueville pointed out in great detail, I'm surprised we're still around. Thank God for Trump; the right man in the right place at the right time, and willing to do the job. If anyone else were president now, we would be lost.
