  1. Laughing Lark That's why our Constitution and Bill of Rights were written as they were, to ensure the people's rights. The Revolutionaries had had enough of English law and subjugation to an all-powerful government. It's horrific that actual history is no longer taught, not in America and not in England, but the English not only are mainly ignorant of their own history, but they truly don't understand that they have never been free (or else it doesn't bother them).
