  1. Don't believe it. There's no way that the NYT would print anything anti-Soros, nor would Zuckerberg go against Soros, unless it was Soros' idea. Soros is universally hated; appearing to oppose him is good press.

  2. I think it's more likely a ploy to make the NYT and FB look good. Soros is universally hated. By appearing to oppose him, the NYT and FB hope to gain credibility. Good luck with that.
