  2. The people of Donbas DID vote, in 2014, to go with Russia in a referendum. Ukraine chose to ignore the legitimate results of the vote and has, instead, shelled them, kidnapped them, tortured them, and murdered them for the last eight years.

  4. Ukraine never held democracy as a valuable characteristic. Donbas voted to go with Russia after the Obama-backed coup. Instead of honoring the will of the people, the government of Ukraine chose to kill them. They started bombing Donbas in 2014 and never stopped. That's why Zelensky can't afford to allow democratic governance, because now with the eyes of the world on him, he can't let the will of the people ruin his sweet gig.

  6. Zelensky started this crap long before the war. He imprisoned many of the top officials of the opposition party in the last election, including the guy he ran against. He imprisoned former president Petro Poroshenko in January on treason charges. Zelensky is no lover of justice or democracy.
