  1. The left has never been about opposing war or big government, and certainly not 10 years ago. The left oppose anything that Republican politicians appear to want. Whatever it is. The anti-war signs in our town's yards all came down the minute Obama was elected. Lesson: the left only opposes something as long as "the other side" is in power. If their guy is in power, suddenly they're all for it.
