  4. tiaopiak Don't know what you mean. The word down-play means to make something appear less important than it is. If Styx was down-playing anything about FDR, it was FDR's complete incompetence at running a government. Do you know about his attempt at price-fixing to control inflation? It was a terrible, disastrous idea in Roman times, and it always will be. Read up on the dry-cleaner debacle. FDR's idiot policies prolonged the depression for nearly a decade after it would have sorted itself if he hadn't messed the economy up worse.
