The eight-year shelling of Donbass by Ukraine, starting from 2014 just because the people of Donbass voted to go with Russia and not the US. The Pentagon funding 27 bioweapons labs in Ukraine. Ukraine shutting off of the source of water to Crimea, causing an eight-year drought. Wars have been fought over much less. This was all the US, from start to finish.

It's the same blindness that Trump had, trusting the people who run things as if they all have honorable intentions. In spite of all the evidence! It's a blindness I have never understood. My brother-in-law worked for the State Department for 35 years as a human rights lawyer, negotiating with countries like China, and he told me once that nobody ever lies to him. I almost choked. No wonder we don't get anywhere with such countries, when the negotiators can't see when they're being played. In any case, I believe that's Putin's problem. He's only just now waking up. Go figure; a former KGB agent getting played like a rookie. We're all going to pay for that mistake.
