  1. I recently went down the rabbit hole of Hitler's indoctrination into theosophy and the occult. It turns out that several prominent theosophists plus Aleister Crowley were hanging around with Hitler. Theosophy is about belief, especially the belief that man can become a god (even already is a god), and the belief in, and practice of, secret occult knowledge. When you look at Hitler's beliefs in that light, a lot of things suddenly make sense. Once you start examining the connection of theosophy with other modern institutions, you'll never see the world in the same way. Aldous Huxley, theosophist. H.G. Wells, theosophist. Their writings weren't warnings per se, but plans for the world's future. Practically everything we think we know is wrong.
