Putin's domestic policies have made Russia almost entirely self-sufficient. What they can't produce at the moment they can buy from China. We're in a much worse place than Russia since almost every manufactured product we use is imported, mainly from China.

@TravellingwithRussell You were quite diplomatic to ignore the reference. Good for you.

What are you smoking? Russia is almost entirely self-sufficient and what they can't produce at the moment, they can buy from China. You know, where almost all of OUR manufactured goods come from.

There's a lot more on our end. Most of this is our fault. We convinced Ukraine to provoke Putin into a fight. We did this. Would it surprise you to know that at least 51 members of Congress are invested in companies that make military hardware? Biden and Romney's sons are raking in millions from Ukraine. They have every interest in provoking a war.

@witness1013 Yes, Burger King is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International (TSX:QSR)(NYSE:QSR) a Canadian stock that Warren Buffett owned until recently. That's from the Canadian Yahoo Finance pages: "3 Canadian Stocks Warren Buffett Has Owned." And this is from the Atlantic in 2014: "Warren Buffett Is Helping Burger King Move to Canada and Dodge Higher Taxes." From The Street: "Warren Buffett: Burger King's Relocation to Canada Isn't to Avoid Taxes: Here's why Buffett, whose Berkshire Hathaway is financing part of Burger King's $11 billion acquisition of Tim Hortons, said the burger chain is moving its headquarters up north." KFC, on the other hand, has never been headquartered in Canada as far as I can find out.

@deserthaolepino483 See my other reply for details, but Warren Buffett moved Burger King's headquarters to Canada years ago. Burger King is also owned by a Canadian corporation, which is also mentioned by name in my other comment.
