I would never own a home with a wooden roof. We actually have neighbors whose homes have cedar shingle siding! Old, dry and highly flammable. Sparks from anything will instantly turn places like that into raging infernos. How are people supposed to escape? How can firefighters save them? The mossy wood roof looks swell. But it seems like an unnecessary risk.
