The lack of collective identity makes your society open to international finance and the forces of open borders Globalisation. Our Liberal elites have completely embraced the de-industrialing of the West and mass immigration.

  4. Unfortunately this is a Classical Liberal and NeoCon analysis. The West/ the Global American Empire like all Empire's has over extended. War from Iraq Syria Libya Afghanistan and now Ukraine. Open borders Globalisation has hollowed out the West. Our manufacturing and industrial base has hollowed us out and mass replacement migration (cheap labour for capitalism) is replacing us. The centre Right has been key to destroying the West. The Right embraced Capitalism when it should of embraced Nationalism. The nation state must control international finance, or international finance will control the nation state.
