Ukraine summer operation failed for two reasons. Ukraine is far too risk averse. Conventional big budget military is the pentagon play - because...I do not know why. Both the pentagon and Ukraine put far too much weight on military equipment and not enough on military action. Results not budget - wins. Second - Ukraine runs the wrong military model. Ukraine is a small more agile force operating on Ukraine soil. russia is the occupier. The relevant paradigm is not WWI trench warfare - although that is the paradigm plays to putin. The paradigm is Afghanistan. Insurrgency against a larger more powerful occupying force. Ukraine mojo is Insurgency. Special Ops. Commandos. Guerrilla Warfare. Resistance like Franch and Poland, or even Al-queda. There is a model insurgency in WWI. Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck. German East Africa. Commanded a few thousand German commandos and a a few dozen thousand African commandos. Never captured or stopped. Died in Hamburg in 1964. Who is the Ukrainian Lettow-Vorbeck? In 2023?

Hardly - Ukraine has vast unexplored option of guerrilla warfare, commandos and insurgency. When Ukraine gets a an effective Talban Insurgency in Ukraine - russia will soon be a-leavin'.
