@plasticide4095 No there wasn't. Marriage between Turks and non Muslims was forbidden by law. And how much well were they treated, tell that after death to the thousands of Greeks being put in Egyptian ships from Moria in 1826 to be transported for slave trade naked, barefoot and tied in chains. As well as those Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians that were being GENOCIDED. The worst African slave did not suffer what these people suffered during the genocide. This is the truth, all the rest is simply whitewashing.

@ChosenWun180 Whether it was or it wasn't as bad let the victims decide. And being Greek(thus belonging in one of the nations that suffered 5 centuries of slavery by the Ottomans) I can show you countless examples of Turkish brutality. Not to mention that along with Armenians there was a whole genocide against us(and for this I can tell you countless stories since I come from a family of refugees from Anatolia). Nothing is worse than a genocide, not even the Transatlantic slave trade. At least the slave trade did not target ethnic or racial groups with the intention to exterminate!!
