@aleksilepisto7282 Whether or not its going to run out is not the main concern— it's whether the planet will survive. The particles that oil and gas fumes let into the air trap heat (because they're bigger than oxygen and hydrogen molecules) and warm up whatever they're covering. That thing they're covering is the whole world. The American Southeast in particular will become uninhabitable (too hot and dry for any humans' natural ability to sweat to resist heat stroke, somewhere ~127° F) long before 2070. You either switch to nuclear, or you're going to lose access to the places with oil long before you can extract all of it. Most of the US will become unlivable (maybe you could live in the lower 48, but most of the land wouldn't be arable anymore). Russia, Canada, and Scandinavia would see the most benefit. So I don't underhand why America insists on warming the atmosphere.
