@DarkZerol Probably because they didn't get lucky like America has? Not every country has massive coastlines on the Pacific and Atlantic to trade with. The U.S. has done lots of nasty shit, overthrowing governments for decades starting with (isn't this poetic) Iran's in 1953. Remember Iran was a democracy, but the U.S. didn't like Prime Minister Mosaddegh, so they liberated Iran.... from Democracy. But no one will ever put America in its place because it's just too hard. It hides behind oceans. Its land is temperate and full of rivers. It has weak neighbors. America is not "better," it just got lucky.
