@zephead843 That pension varies by state. Illinois is famously generous. Other states, not so much. Besides, that's simply not true. As benefits go down, fewer people enter the field. That's why so many women from the Philippines have been hired to teach in the South, in recent years. There's a shortage of American teachers, and you don't seem to understand why.
