  2.  @pineapplesauce6615  It originated in Japan, but found its home in the U.S.. And it's a mixture of American boxing and Muay Thai to begin with. So if pure Muay Thai (with a physically smaller opponent) could beat kickboxing, that leaves little speculation as to which element handicapped its effectiveness. And I'm not sure I understand, I don't disagree with that, just saying that it beat out pure kickboxing, and that Arkansas (of course that's his name, gotta love Southern pride) is foolish and stubborn for refusing to acknowledge that it can be better than kickboxing as a fighting style.
