@kimrizzo7098 There are unreported crimes in all countries. How can you tell where crime is highest? By the reported crime as well as those crimes such as murder which leave indisputable evidence in its wake.

@hastamanana8696 The fact is the Yakuza have mostly come under the control of the Chinese mafia since the Japanese government crackdown on the Yakuza. The Chinese mafia have pretty much subsumed the Yakuza and under the umbrella are known as 半グレ

@tdeo2141 Money, the production and distribution of drugs, willingness to do time, sheer numbers etc. Also, much of the Yakuza's business has gone legit. Ergo the void of criminal activity has been filled by Chinese gangs.

@hastamanana8696 It’s common knowledge in Japan. “半グレ” is what the Japanese refer to them as. Just input that Japanese and you can find countless videos in Japanese about them, many of which are from the police who detail their activities and organizations.
