  2. I can see the logic. Especially since the Mk19 ammo is also readily available. I just don't know if an all-aluminum gun can handle the pressure. 40x53 must be running at least 4x the pressure since it has 4x+ the range. Maybe with a steel chamber and aluminum barrel?

  3.  @jic1  probably those police departments that use the 37mm tear gas, etc. You can also sell it as a flare launcher and let the end buyer file the Form 1 to register it.

  4.  @jic1  I dunno, this is less clunky. Sure, you lose 2 rounds of ammo, but this is a lot less bulky.

  6.  @jic1  perhaps, but a 37mm can also be registered as an NFA Destructive Device and then you're not stuck with a multi shot flare launcher.
