  6. Don’t give up. I just met some young people at a Christmas party- One guy is 25, found a traditional girl to marry, bought a fixer upper house and they are hoping to raise a family. Several others there like that. I think it’s because they have good parents who are advising them how to navigate this weird new world. They are worried about the future but moving forward.

  9. In earlier times, young people went to dances and parties, picnics, etc. Not this intense one-on-one date too soon. They got a chance to see how the other people got along with friends, see the humor, display talents like music and so one.

  10. I have the land, working on the cabin. I’ve been working towards this for years, acquiring skills. Solitude isn’t a problem for everyone. I do advise young women to look for a husband, not a boyfriend- use those college years well because you are around a lot of eligible men. Learn how to date the old-fashion way. Don’t ever move in with a man, be celibate and focus on finding that one good man. Talk to widows like me. Ask to be introduced to decent men.
