  2. @Stanky Panky I knew a couple by the name of Conboy- they lived a few cottages up the street from my grandmother ( born in Ireland). Both of them had very pronounced Irish accents. They told us great ghost stories when we were children and then sent us home in the dark to our grandmother. 😂. Mr Conboy would often bring us some of the fish he caught. He was a giant of a man, so kind to my grandmother- the only one who called her Aggie. I remember one summer he raised a pig in the yard- huge beast— definitely came from farm stock. This was in Montauk, New York on Long Island. They had a daughter- when I was older I babysat her children- a girl and twin boys. . She eventually talked them into selling the place when they got old , then kept them in an outbuilding on the property she and her husband eventually bought. A sad end for them. They are very vivid in my memory and I regret that I didn’t track them down when I was in my twenties. I hope this gives you something to go on. The house was near the corner of Adams and Monroe Streets, east of Lincoln Road. I could probably figure out the house number if that helps. They owned two cottages side by side. They rented one in summer for the income. Now I’m sitting here thinking of them and full of regrets.
