  1. I believe it was the "Spark Vark" version of the F-111 that was used in that op, known as the EF-111A Raven. It has been supplanted by the EA-18G Growler but previously served as an electronic attack platform after the F-111's mission had become somewhat diluted thanks to the proliferation of multirole fighters.
