@nancyv6661 and you think they don't deserve it?
5
@trapaceira I call it exploitation these companies is doing
5
@MrInternFTL no I'm not saying that I'm saying it's a cop out excuse. You don't need to have a car to go to the store you have scooters you have bikes. That's hardly an excuse. And even if you don't have those it's no excuse for not tipping your drivers. It's a scumbag thing to do
3
True but you also forget they get own cars right? It's a double edge sword and it's not healthy
3
@PennyWise-eu9nz here's that argument any other countries you don't have to here in the United States its heavy rely on. Have politicians change it so they actually companies pay for their workers.
3
@sxnses again we shouldn't have to rely on tips but we have to make a living.
2
@shempaulus8233 it's no longer a tip if they rely on it very much.
2
@PennyWise-eu9nz so despite the fact that when it comes to the United States (and you visit 6 countries) you think that drivers don't deserve anything better (and I'm looking what I am doing Doordash) 3 bucks? Those countries that you been in they paying without a tip the companies did pay them more than tips. Here in the United States its the opposite.
2
You don't have to get it delivered if you can't afford it
1
No it isn't at least not United States
1
They did also you can get it yourself that's also an option
1
@melynxed10 true if only they did and it's becoming a problem.
1
It's also (I'm a driver) not to take it either.
1
@MrInternFTL I find it very hard to believe
1
@jojogotbeats I understand that I just don't understand why they don't tip at all.
1
@longdong8575 then you can get it you literally have a choice to get it yourself or not. If you going to have a delivered at least tip a few bucks. Again I don't think it should not go by tips because it will become a problem of both drivers and customers I'm saying until they change it its going to exploit people. I throw in a few bucks because they earn it. And I work in both driver and customer
1
@PennyWise-eu9nz well for one I don't need to go to other countries that I do have friends in Europe and also read that they don't do this. So yeah that's why I said it.
1
You can get it yourself. In my experience people don't tip enough for people that own their own cars. I am a dasher and I normally don't ask people without tips(trust me I know you didn't, not sure about dominos) however when I do order I usually tip from 8 to 10 bucks even if it's like a mile or more. If I can't afford it I get it myself.
1
They should change it its outdated that tips is heavy rely on customers. It should be the company
1
It's not mandatory but company pay little to them so they pass on the rest to the customer. For example Doordash pay like 3 bucks for each delivery
