  1. Why would the south korean government have to spend a lot of tax payers money to develop North Korea? All the government has to do is push for legislation that make private business investments in North Korea as profitable as possible, and the private sector will be more than happy to make the investments. The North Korean people is plagued by poverty and destitution and will probably be more than happy to work hard for decent wages in order to improve their country and economy so there's an enormous workforce to utilize for the task at hand.

  3. moreshige: Possibly. But I dislike the Idea of leaving it up to governments, since governments are usually terrible and inefficient at administrating these things as well as making sound investments.
