  1. China does not have a "better economy". Their economy is severel propped up by exports. The Chinese economy rise and fall depending on the willingness of other countries to purchase Chinese products. GDP is not the end all, be all measurement of an economy.

  2. Huawei is a dirty company with close ties to the rogue chinese government. The same government that does nothing to prevent patent infringements and enforce strict control and censorship of even it's own citizens. Blacklisting Huawei is only sensible.

  3. I owned a Huawei phone before. But I stopped using it because of Huaweis shady, close ties to the Chinese government. I do not want to financially support a government that massacres it's own citizens as a means to censor them, and that actively spies on their own citizens with the intent to strip them of rights if they express critical views of their government. As long as there are chinese citizens who feel unsafe to speak their minds freely within their own country out of fear of what their government might subject them to, then I will not support it.

  4. Yes, China will most likely sell their cellphones to other countries. But the U.S market is one of the top markets in the world that every company on the planet wants access to. If you get barred from trading in the U.S, it will hurt you financially and stunt the growth of your company. So any company facing a ban in the U.S market will feel the reprecussions and would be incentivized to change their course.

  5.  @Kobi-um7bj  No country wants "chinese investments". The chinese only "invest" with intent of hostile take overs or sabotaging the country they "invest" in. Just ask Canadians about their skyrocketing housing prices which is driving more and more Canadians to homelessness, because Chinese "investors" buy up all the real estate and just sit on it, while that asshat Justin Trudeau keeps letting it go on.
