Bill Franks You're lucky to have such a Governor. The only thing lockdowns do is make poor people poorer. Ask the WHO.

@macmcleod1188 It's a virus. People catch it. The vulnerable die from it. That will not change. The choice is: do we trash the economy in vainly hoping to stop the virus or do we refuse to kill our way of life?
2
@hizzlemobizzle I see. So the thing that props up all your lockdown fanaticism, is your discontent with the financial system. All else must bow to that end. Do what you will with Wall Street for me; I am not here to defend the people in there. I want my society and the economy that feeds my family, to be put back as it was. Sort out the crony capitalists yes; but not like this. Not by imposing lockdowns that kill many more than the supposed initial cause.
2
lizzie mobile They're doing us all a service. That's how herd immunity is established.
2
@qualicumwilson5168 All life terminates mate. Good luck with stopping that one. Just what Trump and Darwin need to get shoehorned in for I'm not sure. This is a virus not a political character.
2
@hizzlemobizzle Well that's peculiar, as herd immunity is recognised by the WHO. Prof' Jay Battacharya also believes that herd immunity is undeniable. He says it is not a policy but just a recognition of biological fact. But maybe you know better than the science?
2
@qualicumwilson5168 The lockdowns will kill many more than the virus itself. I've already seen two people I know succumb to lockdown. One woman, just 30 and a band drummer in his early forties. Both lost their jobs due to lockdown. Both suicide.
2
@hizzlemobizzle The Great Barrington Declaration IS the medical/scientific community. What you are heeding is the pack set upon spreading fear. Wake up. (NYT? Are you kidding?)
2
@mushypeasplease8872 Deal with the virus by shielding the vulnerable. Spend millions on that instead of ripping down society and the economy that feeds us all and pays for health services. I've had the virus, along with three of my family. We're all fine as are the vast majority. Get back to work for all the young, fit and invulnerable. Otherwise they are increasingly going to be out of work and in not too long a time, the supplies they dealt with will not be on the supermarket shelves. It is coming if we all carry on as we are.

Kadinh13 Latest research in says that the effect of masks on viral spread is negligible. At the same time they breed bacteria.
1
@stacylgh 'Random study'? Well maybe the Danish science and 'Nature' magazine is not able to compete with the word of two nurses.
1
@stacylgh An interesting new observation you may care to view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m121hAiREvc
1
@anajuajam Masks don't stop viral spread. All they do is send the mutual message: 'I am a danger to your health; you are a danger to mine. Death is about to strike us all down' It's hogwash. The mask is the strongest weapon in the armoury of those who want to kill our economy. Look forward to that when it comes soon. When people are hungry and want what's in your cupboard.
1
@ralph95 A what?
1
Influenza just phoned. Says he's more than pissed off that he's not killing anyone this season.
1
@prndownload More from the 'this is the new ebola' mindset.

@hizzlemobizzle Businesses are dead in UK. Dying by the day and not coming back. All because of an annual virus. I've had Covid so has my wife, my Sister and her husband. All coped with it easily and back to work. All in our early 60s. Yes, some people die. How you gonna stop that?
1
@macmcleod1188 Stop listening to the MSM propaganda. People are dying everyday. Here in UK 1600 per day on average, all-cause death rate, many of them from various respiratory illnesses. This virus kills like so many others. We have not killed off our society to combat any of the others. Nor have we strangled the economy that feeds us all. Very soon, the food shortages will kick in. Enjoy.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Thank you. I will leave you with a very interesting new video from one of the most informative commentators on this whole episode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m121hAiREvc
1
@hizzlemobizzle Why was the WHO recognised procedure, to go for herd immunity every year until this outbreak? Were they wrong then?
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Nobody loses their job to covid - they lose their jobs due to the gross over-reaction in the form of lockdown. We just had another 13,000 lose their jobs yesterday in UK with the fall of another retail chain. 'The experts'? The Great Barrington Declaration is not expert enough?
1
@michellemcdermott2026 Many thanks.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Meanwhile, in Sweden.....
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Just type in 'covid deaths sweden'.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 How many died yesterday? This week? In a population of how many millions? 'Death rate' by the way is misleading. This is a long-run thing. Sweden has a large proportion of its population who are immune. Norway hasn't.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 We'll see who comes out of this with a breathing economy and who is under communist rule eh?
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Australia and NZ normal? Do you know anyone who lives there? You think what's happening there is normal? And you're stressing the 'intelligent' point?
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Just got word from friends in Adelaide. They took a trip to Sydney, said the place is dead.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 You've sold it mate. I'm going to book my flight and visit. Oh wait, no visitors allowed. Well that's the tourist trade done in. There's your normal eh?
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Enforced vaccines. More of that normal stuff.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 I want to visit the US. I want to take my wife out for a meal. I want to go to my local pub. I want to work again. None of these things will be allowed to me unless allow an injection of something I don't trust. That you are happy with such a situation tells me what kind of person you are. Cheers mate.
1
@qualicumwilson5168 I can get a passport without anyone sticking a needle in me to inject who knows what. A trifling detail you skilfully left out. Why am I selfish?
1
@qualicumwilson5168 Nice try with the Yellow Fever thing. Only difference is that there was no concerted effort to use that disease as a means to 're-imagine' our world. You label me as selfish, for what? Did you walk round with a mask on during SARS1? Did you 'social distance' during the last flu' outbreak that killed people? It's just this really special year that we're selfish for not clapping along while society is torn down, yes?
