Information was strictly controlled. "The Science" was a tight grouping of selected people (who selected them?) comprised of an assortment of specialists. To 'fight the virus', there was not one virologist nor epidemiologist within the ranks of SAGE until some weeks into the lockdown. There was however, from the outset, a large team of behavioural psychologists whose activity is to 'change behaviours'. This was done by unleashing waves of publicity to instil fear and trauma in the public. This was never primarily a health issue. This was and continues to be, all about control.
