Ultimately, it's the fault of the British public that the economic disaster is upon us. How did we think that shutting down trade and society for so long, was not going to lead to exactly what is happening? We are going to be taken all the way down. A tiny group of immensely rich, powerful and ruthless people, have decided that now is the time to return to a two-tier system whereby the vast majority will own nothing (and be happy, or else) while the elite take it all.
