Russia has stuff that the West needs and must buy and which they want to take for themselves so they don't have to buy. Putin is not letting that happen. Russia will not be stopped from selling its stuff just because they can't trade in dollars. They will still have stuff for sale and the exchanges will be made by other means. All of which was coming anyway, as the dollar continues its Fed'-inflicted death spiral.
