  8. Sorry for your loss. When Boris warned that 'every family will lose a loved one' we all thought it was a warning of the virus. In truth the lockdowns are taking a dreadful toll. In my circle, no virus deaths or even severe illness; but 3 suicides and now 3 cancers discovered late stage.

Putin is universally portrayed by the MSM and even, the more thorough-going outlets, as totally without any justification for his actions in Ukraine. Why does it go unmentioned that NATO and the EU have relentlessly encroached on Russia's borders, flouting all assurances and guarantees that this would not happen? How is Putin expected to be happy to allow NATO missiles on his doorstep? How is it in any way 'right-wing' to point out the blatant aggression of NATO?

After the debacle of the referendum result that continues to be resisted after more than four years; and now the deeply disturbing antics of the lockdown; it is not too fanciful a notion to question whether the future will be one which features free elections. Even if there are to be elections in the future which is being shaped in dark places, what will be our choice? Vote Tory, get globalist tyranny; vote Labour, get globalist tyranny.

  26. I voted to leave the EU and I am fully behind any move to regain our full sovereignty. However, to strike such optimistic tones as are sounded in this statement, seems to me to be out of touch. Any and all powers we might have reclaimed have now been totally subsumed by what we might call the EU's parent company: globalism. Miss Grant makes much of democracy, as if we were still in possession of a parliamentary system that actually played a part in what is happening and what is to happen to us. How clear can it get, that in fact we are in the complete grip of an authoritarian dictatorship which shows us on a daily basis that it has no need of the mutterings of the benches - our democracy has been replaced. I do apologise for not being able to offer encouragement to the young and bright hopes expressed, but honestly, the absolute catastrophe that is unfolding before us, has to be recognised for the totalitarian shift it is. The whole world is being subjected to a coup the result of which will be global socialist totalitarian rule. Fishing rights?

  30. Very apt that this man should inform us of the way that we are being manipulated - 'nudged' - by the malcontent people who are 'advising' our government. Their every word on how we should handle a middling viral outbreak, is taken as indubitable truth even though they are behavioural psychologists with no expert knowledge in virology or epidemiology. Who selected the members of SAGE? Why is our leadership restricting attention to the one narrow viewpoint which is so isolated from greater bodies of eminent scientists such as those signatories of The Great Barrington Declaration?

  35. Another fence-sitter - well-meaning but basically incapable of understanding the level of threat we face. She refers to 'a way out' of our predicament. There is to be no way out. The main purpose of our continued lockdown is to bleed the money out of our small/medium business sector. The workforce will be put on welfare, and the very idea of capitalist, free-enterprise will be done away with. As for 'conspiracy theories': that phrase is deliberately put against anyone who casts suspicion over who and what might be behind all of this. We don't have to look far, as it is a freely aired proclamation of the WEF founder and leader, Prof' Klaus Schwab, that "...the pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, re-imagine and reset our world". (All that suffering; a rare opportunity - classy) Schwab elsewhere assures us that "In 2030 you will own nothing, and you will be happy". All of this has been planned for many years, initially in secret but more recently made freely available to all. If Julia Hartley-Brewer is as concerned as she says she is, then why, as a professional journalist, is she not looking into this area for answers; and why is she not making this known to the public?
