@_banja How do you think goods are going to be brought to the markets as more and more businesses go bust? Right now, furlough in UK is slated to last until the end of March. Bills will not be paid. People will lose everything. This is how civil unrest and violence is started.

@_banja In March it was new, it was spring and it was going to last for 3 weeks. Now, 9 months later and the succession of lies and deceits and no sense of this ever coming to an end; businesses being run into the ground; millions thrown onto the dole, it's all very different. @_banja None of this lockdown makes sense in terms of viral threat. Lockdowns don't stop viral outbreaks. Lockdowns only do one thing: they make poor people poorer. All the scientific evidence recognises that, thus the established procedure worldwide for many decades, has been to let communities develop immunity (right up until 2020) Given that; the extended lockdowns can only be in place for reasons other than any concern for public health.
