  1. It appears to me that marriages in China are transactional in that the men must provide bride prices, houses, cars & jewellery. Women refusing health checks!! I think the whole process of people marrying in China is a damn mess. Marriage should be based on love and respect for their partners. Get rid of the transactional nature of marriage and at least men and women can get together based on love and respect. Both parties should get a health check report and present it to the other. Only if both parties are fully transparent can marriages work.
