  1. PH ended its bases agreement with the US only in 1992, but retaining the 1951 Mutual Defense Treaty. What they only have is a Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) since ‘99 and the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) from 2014 - only granting access to bases owned by PH Army for refueling and storage of certain weapons as the case with Singapore from the 90s and recently with Eastern European NATO members Poland, Czechia, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.
