@Redf322 What "wrong" exactly? I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money.

Actually they are morally defensible, easily. For example, do you believe that stealing money is wrong? Do you think greed is a bad thing?

@hotchpotch3278 : We can start from the fact that whatever wealth and money they have accumulated, it is their property and a result of goods and service they have provided to society in general.

@hotchpotch3278 "and what about the services supplied by a government? Safety, security, defence, general health, education, roads etc." Most of those could and should be privatized, unless some kind of voluntary tax system is put in place.

@Redf322 "the reason is you didn’t earn the money on your own you used employees and our infrastructure." Employees get paid directly by their employer which has nothing to do with the government, and the government doesn't give anyone a choice not to use the already established infrastructure.

@Redf322 " You, and your employees will use our health service, our police force, our firebrigade. " They may or may not use them, but they are forced to pay for the regardless. There is no choice on the matter. You cannot choose not to pay and then not use.

@Redf322 "Libertarianism exists to protect big corporations not you." They exist to protect individual freedoms and civil liberties, also the proper word is Liberalism.

"Do away with the tax havens and there is suddenly more money in the government's coffers." Well if you want more money in the gover nment's coffers, just do away with prop erty and hu man righ ts, and bec ome the totalitarian gove rnment you wish it would be. It's not like it hasn't been done before.
