@HolySpiritGuidedIndividual Jungian :) thats the one where his neurology breaks down after a certain point and he just goes "gods doing it" .. not a very scientific attitude to how the action of the brain produces the mind .. but those guys are from a century back its to be expected :) As to "man" .. if its making spears and using fire and building huts .. I think its obviously an ancestor, or at least a cousin .. Yeah theres missing links .. but what can be seen it difficult to deny :)

@HolySpiritGuidedIndividual One big one for me .. ritualised burial of the dead, with objects they used in life. How can you deny thats a man?

@HolySpiritGuidedIndividual I am an advocate for humanity :) yes, science is not perfect .. yes theres still many things not fully understood. But thats no reason to make this logic jump to "Gods doing it" .. why not "Odins doing it" or "Tescatilipocas is doing it" or even "Aliens are doing it"? Because that makes exactly the same amount of sense.
