Yep Good old British technology at work 👍 They are probably using the M982 Excalibur rounds which have a 4m cep (That's a 4 metre accuracy radius) at a range of 56km (35 miles) so at a range of 12 miles you are virtually guaranteed direct hits, And before anyone says it's an American gun it's not, it was supplied by America but the M777s and variants thereof were designed and built by British company BAE systems.

@kevinbaboolal4225 They received the First shipment of M982 Excalibur rounds on the 23rd of April don't know how many they have received since. Edit: and they have the M777a2s not the M777.

@shiba2472 $113k for a single shot kill on a command unit it is cheep when you consider the damage done to the enemy, the cost of the destroyed vehicle, the disruption to the command and control system, how ever many enemy troops were killed / injured, the effect on morale for both sides both positive and negative.

@rocketassistedgoat1079 By standard shell i assume you mean the M107, when fired from the M777a2 the M107 round has a 10m cep, the M982 Excalibur round has a 4m cep as it is GPS guided.

Hew Jarsols They could have used the drone to get the GPS of the target, or, America could be giving them access to the latest satellite GPS targeting systems where the satellite itself determines the targets GPS rather than someone on the ground.

Yep M777a2 combined with M982 Excalibur can hit a target within a 4m radius at a range of 35 miles 👍
