  1. Okay, brake-pad assemblies make no sense. While the piston pushes the brake pads against the rotor, there doesn’t appear to be any return spring (like with drum brakes) to pull the brake pads away from the spinning rotor when the pistons retract (especially on the side opposite the pistons.) Where’s my return spring… where’s the DAMN spring?!? 🤔
