South America has had plenty of revolutions and political coups in it's history. It will probably fall pretty quick. My guess is no one really cares about Maduro.

This whole thing will be over very quickly. Maduro is weak and will fall. The only question is what it looks like afterwards. We don't want a Chinese or Russian puppet there.

@lightningdriver81 I think it's because Russia is looking to eat the dead carcass that is post-Socialist Venezuela that Trump realized we should get it instead.

TheWin200000 Don't you observe the irony ? Here we are for the last few years with the Fake News MSM talking about "Russian Collusion". Now have America vs Russia struggling over who will influence a post-Socialist Venezuela. See that? It's a complete 180. Rather than colluding with Russia Trump is in competition with Russia. Colluding ------> Competition.

Rosscoe Schopenhauser Venezuela seems like a case of a self inflicted wound . Basically the Socialists did as they always do and promise Utopia, but give death. So for the most part the Globalists just laughed and stepped back to wait until the inevitable collapse of Venezuela. This was just too easy . ------------ Another point though... Remember the Trump and the "Russian Collusion" thing by the Fake News MSM? How do they walk back from that now? Trump is in Competition with Russia over who will influence post-Socialist Venezuela. See that? Collusion becomes Competition. It's a complete reversal of the "Russian Collusion" narrative. (not like that wasn't dying anyway)

Rosscoe Schopenhauser Yep. There is a lot of "Wag The Dog" going on. You would think some would remember from year to year and connect the dots, but it seems to not happen very often. When Trump is said to be "Colluding" with Russia many believe it. Now with Trump "Competing" with Russia over Venezuela those same people will simply "forget" the past and get all emotionally invested in the new story. It sad to say but The People do seem pretty easy to trick and a great deceiver can get away with just about anything.

Rosscoe Schopenhauser I've seen a few of his videos. Yes. People instinctively conform to external queues from the group consensus and rarely actually think for themselves whether something it logical or not. There was a guy named Rene Girard who developed a very simplified way of describing this trait of imitation.... called "Mimetic Theory". His analysis of the "Scapegoat Mechanism" is pure genius.
